Responder Use of Force Certification

Professional use of force training for security personnel covering de-escalation, defensive tactics, and legal responsibilities. The Responder Use of Force Certification is a comprehensive training program designed for security professionals who may be required to physically intervene while carrying out their duties. Participants will learn the legal authorities governing the use of force, conflict management and de-escalation strategies, defensive tactics, handcuffing techniques, and safe subject control. Training combines classroom instruction with practical, scenario-based exercises to build confidence, decision-making, and professionalism under stress. This course emphasizes safety, accountability, and proportional response, ensuring participants understand not only how to apply force, but when it is legally and ethically appropriate to do so. Whether you work in residential security, hospitals, retail, events, mobile patrol, or corporate security, this certification provides practical skills that can be applied immediately in the field. Train. Test. Respond. Be prepared before the incident—not during it.
