KUMAMOTO EARTHQUAKE CHARITY DINNER

Join us for a special Kaiun Sake Pairing Dinner with Ayako Doi of Doi Brewery, supporting Kumamoto after the recent devastating earthquake. We are honored to welcome Ayako Doi of Doi Sake Brewery, located in Shizuoka, Japan, home of the renowned Kaiun sake. This special evening marks the first time Saskatchewan welcomes a representative from a sake brewery in Japan, offering guests a rare opportunity to meet someone directly from the brewery behind Kaiun and learn about its history, craftsmanship, and sake-making tradition. We are also pleased to welcome Yasuhiro Washiyama of Sakegami, a premium sake importer serving Western Canada and a long-time partner of Doi Sake Brewery. Originally from the neighborhood of the brewery, Yasuhiro brings a personal connection to Kaiun as well as extensive knowledge of premium sake.
