Chess and Ramen Night

Chess & Ramen Night is designed to be social first and competitive second. You don’t need to be a tournament player or arrive with a partner. Come with friends or come on your own — the idea is to sit down, play some relaxed recreational chess, meet different people and enjoy the Ramen Lab experience along the way. 6:30 PM–7:00 PM — Korean Ice Cup Icebreaker We’ll start the evening inside Social Lab with Korean ice cup drinks, networking and a chance to mingle before the chess boards come out. Introduce yourself, meet other players and find some new opponents for the night. 7:00 PM–9:30 PM — Casual Chess + Ramen Lab Experience The boards open for recreational chess games with different players throughout the evening. No ratings, no pressure and no serious tournament atmosphere — just good games, conversation and a fun social night. Every guest also gets to choose one ramen to try and enjoy as part of the Ramen Lab experience. Browse our South Korean ramen selection, choose a flavour that catches your eye, then head to Ramen Lab and prepare your bowl using our commercial ramen machines. It’s part Korean convenience-store experience, part social night and part excuse to discover a new favourite ramen. And to set the mood, The Queen’s Gambit will be playing on the TVs throughout the evening while the games are underway. We’ll wrap things up at 9:30 PM with prizes, a few final laughs and bragging rights before calling it a night. $19.99 per person + applicable taxes and includes your Chess & Ramen Night experience plus one Ramen Lab bowl.
