Inspired by HER presented by BeaYOUtiful, is a free confidence-building event for female and non-binary identifying youth ages 9-13. For the first time ever, Inspired by HER is coming to Saskatoon! Presented by the BeaYOUtiful Foundation, this FREE city-wide conference is open to female and non-binary identifying youth ages 9-13, that is focused on confidence building, self-love, mental wellness and fostering friendship. This event will feature three rotating workshops that the attendees will move through. Each workshop leader will highlight a diverse range of topics all having to do with self-love and confidence building. Participants will take part in open floor discussions, variations of artistic expression, a dance class, interactive activities and leadership-inspired workshops. Each attendee is paired with a Soul Sister for the day, an empowering mentor to connect with while building new friendships with girls from diverse communities! Featured Workshops & Speaker Overview: Keynote Speaker: Farica Prince Deputy Chief Farica Prince brings 25 years of policing, leadership, and community-building experience to inspire others through her focus on connection, inclusion, and purpose. A passionate advocate for positive culture and leadership development, Farica shares her journey of creating meaningful impact through strong relationships, compassion, and authentic leadership. Purpose Is Your Power - What to expect: Setting the tone for the conference, Farica will guide participants through the importance of belonging, identity, connection, and purpose. Drawing on her leadership experience, Farica explores how fostering meaningful relationships and a strong sense of purpose can build confidence, inspire resilience, and strengthen communities. Workshop Leader: Ruvani Henriques Ruvani is a mortgage industry leader with more than 18 years of experience creating opportunities through homeownership, investing, and financial empowerment. A dedicated advocate for women in finance, mother of two, and mentor with the BeaYOUtiful Foundation, she is passionate about empowering young girls with the confidence, knowledge, and tools to succeed in real estate, entrepreneurship, and beyond. Keys to Confidence! - What to expect: In this empowering and goal oriented workshop, participants will explore the fundamentals of financial literacy, including income, budgeting, entrepreneurship and how making thoughtful financial choices can lead to greater independence. Participants will discover how setting personal goals and developing healthy money habits can help them feel confident, capable, and empowered to turn their dreams into reality. Workshop Leader: Jenna Mulherin Jenna has spent over 15 years helping people grow in their careers, especially women who want to feel confident and reach their goals. Currently a Human Resources Director with QE Home, Jenna continues to teach people how to use their strengths to succeed, encouraging others to believe in themselves, learn from challenges, and celebrate their unique talents. Reflect, Connect, & Set Intentions. - What to expect: This workshop is rooted in self-love and encourages participants to dream BIG and to reach for the stars! Through reflection activities, they’ll build a tool-kit that can be used to wind down and further connect to themselves and their goals. The power of journaling will support participants in practicing gratitude, celebrating wins, and setting the tone for how they can move forward with their dreams. Workshop Leader: Clara Eaton Ribiero Clara is a dancer, mentor, instructor, and adjudicator who is passionate about helping young dancers build confidence both on and off the stage. Clara is the co-owner of VERTEX VIBE, an intimate dance workshop designed to create a supportive space where dancers can reconnect with why they love to dance. Louder Than Fear! - What to expect: This movement-based workshop will guide participants in learning choreography to “Let’s Get Loud”. Together, they’ll practice how to be loud beyond their voices, and how to be bold in who they are and standing up for what they believe in. After the empowering dance choreography is complete, participants will join a mindfulness gathering to celebrate the new experiences and friendships made using the power of words through affirmations and gratitude!
