Saskatoon: Queer Speed Friending

Come connect with other queer folks in a safe space and enjoy a fun afternoon of fast paced connection! This is a 19+ event open to all identities from the queer community. Attendees will have the option to add their pride flag(s) stickers to their name tags at sign in. Registration opens at 1:30PM. Your ticket gets you into the event and includes an alcoholic beverage of your choice OR bottomless pop/ coffee! Whether you're off the market but always wanted to try speed dating, new to the city and looking to meet people, or just want to expand your social network with others from the queer community, this event is for you! How it works: We'll start with a fun ice breaker game before the 1:1's begin in our private event room. When you hear the bell, you're onto your next potential friend! When time is up you get to decide if you will friend match or pass by filling out your match card. Contact information for mutual matches will be sent out the following day via email. $5 from each ticket will be donated to Gender Queer Coffee Club-serving the gender diverse community through social activities and peer support. This venue is accessible and provides gender neutral bathrooms. Ticket revenue is used to cover cost of marketing and venue use, with a portion of sales being donated.
