About the author: Janet Morrison is a Psychological Associate with forty years’ experience assessing and treating children, youth, and their families. She has consulted to school boards and children’s aid societies across Ontario and has taught and supervised psychologists and social workers at the Canadian Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. Janet has a podcast called Catch-Up on Kids' Mental Health, where she explores diverse topics related to children’s mental health and development.
