Join us for a Ebru (Turkish marbling) workshop where ancient tradition meets modern creativity. 🌿 What is Ebru? Ebru, also known as Turkish marbling, is a traditional art form where colors are gently floated on water and transferred onto paper. Originating in Central Asia and perfected in Ottoman workshops, Ebru represents harmony, patience, and flow. Every piece is one of a kind — shaped by the natural movement of water and pigment. In this workshop, you’ll discover how this centuries-old practice connects creativity, mindfulness, and sustainability. The workshop will begin with a short introduction to the art of Ebru and the materials used. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the display, see and touch the traditional materials, and learn more about the techniques behind this beautiful art. During the hands-on session, each participant will create two Ebru artworks of their own. 🎨
