Poetry night @ Poured Coffee

A God-honouring and faith-filled poetry writing workshop and open mic event. Guidelines for open mic poetry submission All poetry must be shared privately with the organizers (via pouredpoetry[@]yahoo.com) before it is shared publicly. We aim to create a space that honours each other, but God above all. That's why we've developed the following guidelines. Poetry shared should be: • God honouring. Aligned with scripture, blessing to the reader and the listener, honouring to The Trinity. • Hope filled. Written/read experiences that are deep, traumatic or life-changing are acceptable and needed. We ask that these are presented in such a way that it still brings hope, restoration, encouragement, truth and life. • Pure. No swears or cursing. Please advise us if you will be using any props or have any questions. Thank you in advance for your respect and understanding.
