Shiv & The Carvers

Shiv and the Carvers present their debut LP "Always Watching" in its entirety on November 28th at The Garrison featuring friends Dermabrasion and Ruby Doom. “The man in the sky looks down into my room,” Shiv and the Carvers sing on the opener of their new album, Always Watching, “And he wants me to put on a show, and I do.” Whether lambasting tech billionaires, crooked cops, or purity culture, Shiv and the Carvers’s ridiculously fun, anti-authoritarian anthems make for an impeccable show indeed. Incubated in the dusty warehouses of Toronto’s roller derby scene, the band’s “Josie and the Pussycats meet Bikini Kill” sound has been conjuring rapturous mosh pits across their hometown of Toronto and well beyond.
