Social Reading Night #29 - **Creeds Coffee**

** NEW LOCATION/ NO GROUP MEAL ** ** Max 40 people ** Concept: We've noticed that people want to read more books, be social, and get out of the house. Make time and join Quiet Smile at Creed's Coffee for a 'Quiet Offline Reading Party'. Leave your phone out of reach. Quiet reading time in a room with other people doing the same. Pick up that book you keep putting off. What to Expect: Uninterrupted time to read the book you keep meaning to start or finish. A simple path into conversation, no rush no pressure. A cozy café atmosphere that makes it easier to slow down. Proper time offline, not just “less online.” Creeds Coffee is hosting us to support the evening. Please leave outside drinks and snacks at home and we encourage you to try the great goods made at the café. Schedule: 6:00 to 6:30 pm: Arrive and settle in6:30 to 8:30 pm: Quiet reading time 25 min Quiet Reading --> 5 min social break 25 min Quiet Reading --> 5 min ish break 25 min Quiet Reading --> 8:30 ish End 8:30 to 9:00 pm: Optional hang-out time 9:00 pm: Wrap-up Miscellaneous Notes: Dive into any book. Bring your own book, poetry, essays, comics, steamy fanfic, whatever holds your attention. Connect with others and swap books, if you want. After reading, you can talk with others if you feel like it. This is a low-stakes space where saying hello is part of the script. Creeds Coffee is not currently wheelchair-accessible.
