Turning Tables

One room full of writers at different tables doing various creative writing and community building activities hosted by Jam's Creative Lab you’re invited to TURNING TABLES a writing experience happening on Thursday October 8 from 6-8:30pm at St Matthew’s Clubhouse (450 Broadview Ave) as part of the Art Labs program at East End Arts 💜 it’ll go like this: every table will cater to a different need, style, methodology or medium. you can spend all night at one table or rotate through a few! need inspiration? there will be a table full of prompts 🌟 looking to have a bit of your writing workshopped? come with a maximum of 5,000 printed for the workshop table 🧑🏾‍💻 want to talk books and do a little reading? there’ll be space for that 📚 coming with a simple desire to write? there will be a quiet table just for that too ✍🏾 you can come with a work in progress and you can come ready to write something new! 🦋 the aim is to connect and create as a collective! bring your own journal, laptop, or tablet, as well as any sensory items that help you write and feel safe in shared space like fidget toys, headphones, a blanket, your favorite tea, etc. 💻🧸🎧☕️ pens, pencils, snacks, sticky notes and mini notebooks will be available ✏️🍿✏️ please direct questions to [email protected] or @jams.creative.lab on Instagram
