Calling all self-described (and aspiring ◡̈) artists, engineers, creators, writers, designers, programmers, founders, researchers, & makers of all kinds: don't let your background define you. Explore and work on a new interest that you're curious about! [not what your employers, instructors, or parents are requiring you to do] Here's what's on the agenda: 6:00 PM beginning ritual — what you're working on & what inspires you6:30 PM work blocks — 50 min deep work/10 min break/50 min deep work8:20 PM demos & food — what we made & what we learned Snacks provided. We highly encourage you to bring your own to share! Doors open at 5:45. HARD START AT 6:10PM. If you arrive late, please find a spot to work quietly until the break <3 ​What is Atelier? Atelier is a place where you have the freedom to explore your curiosity. We gather weekly to create things: software apps, blogs, paintings, videos, music, games, graphics, and so on. at·el·iera workshop or studio, especially one used by an artist or designer. No school work or job work allowed. Please read and adhere to our code of conduct. ​"I don't think I'm creative enough to join." Your starting point doesn't matter. The only pre-requisite is the curiosity to show up with an open mind. To become creative, you need to create.
