A room is a collection of decisions.Every object, placement, material, omission, and edit reflects a choice. The same is true of a building, a brand, a business, a creative practice, or a life. What You Leave Out explores why the principles that create enduring design are the same principles that create decisions that hold: attention, editing, restraint, structural integrity, and knowing what belongs. The quality of what we build is inseparable from the quality of the decisions that shape it.Kim Stern is a curator, decision strategist, and founder of Good Question. She works with creatives, founders and cultural leaders to help them see clearly, trust their own discernment, and make decisions that hold.
