CMA Accredited + IICT Approved Sound Therapy Training. Professional Sound Practitioner Certification in Vancouver. The Certified Sound Healing Practitioner Training is a two-day professional training for anyone who wants to understand sound more deeply and learn how to facilitate it with skill and intention. Rather than simply learning how to play instruments, you’ll explore how sound works, how it is experienced through the body and nervous system, and how to design and facilitate a complete sound session. The training brings together sound science, musical technique, nervous-system and sensory awareness, trauma-informed principles, ethics and hands-on facilitation. We also explore emerging areas of research, including fascia, connective tissue and mechanical vibration, while learning how to distinguish established evidence from theory and unsupported wellness claims. The goal is to give you a grounded framework for working with sound while still leaving space for the creative, intuitive and spiritual dimensions of the practice. No previous experience is required. What You’ll Learn Sound Science + the Body Nervous-System + Sensory Awareness Instruments + Voice Trauma-Informed Facilitation Ethics + Scope Session Design Practice + Assessment The Training Day One — Foundations, Sound Science + Theory We build the foundation through sound science, the body and nervous system, instruments and technique, ethics, safety, scope and trauma-informed principles. Day Two — In-Person Facilitation Practicum The second day moves into hands-on practice, session design, consent and participant safety, instructor and peer feedback, and practical competency assessment. Who This Is For This training is open to complete beginners as well as practitioners who want a more structured, evidence-informed and professional approach to working with sound. You do not need a musical background or previous sound-healing experience. Weekend Dates & Location Day 1 - Yaletown Loft November 14 - 5PM - 9PM Day 2 - Leis de Buds Kits November 15 - 11AM - 3PM Take a virtual tour of the studio Tea and snacks will be provided throughout the training. Why This Training Is Different Sound facilitation is more than knowing how to make an instrument sound beautiful. Students learn to understand sound, musicality, sensory experience, nervous-system awareness, safety and session design so they can make intentional decisions about how and why they use sound. The training balances science with the creative and contemplative dimensions of the practice while maintaining clear professional scope and responsible claims. The goal is not to teach one rigid formula. It is to give you the knowledge and practical foundation to begin developing your own informed facilitation style.
