This 3-hour portraiture workshop gives you the opportunity to photograph models and learn to pose, light, and catch a moment as it happens. Participants in this 3-hour portraiture workshop will shoot with a professional model and receive direct feedback from their instructor, while learning how to direct a pose, read the light, and catch a moment as it happens -all in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere with good tunes, delectable refreshments and great company. The mission is simple: elevated learning, an unforgettable event, beautiful moments and transcendent images. This 3-hour weekend workshop is more manageable than a multi-day course for all you motivated but time-poor learners out there, providing hands-on practice that you just don't get from watching youtube tutorials. It's experiential learning where you can network with other local photographers and build your confidence behind the lens, in a creative, fun, friendly and supportive setting. Refreshments generously provided by Chilliwack's Whispering Horse Winery are provided to fuel your creativity, while the soundtrack to your most memorable photography workshop plays in the background. Who: this workshop targets intermediate level learners, those further along than the casual smartphone user, but, this is also not aimed at seasoned industry professionals looking for an advanced fashion editorial session.
