After an extended break from teaching, I’m so happy to be returning to the mat and especially happy to be returning to 1644 W 6th Avenue, a space many of you will remember as Space & Soul, now home to B-Ninety Eight Club. An hour to step out of the noise and into sound, vibration and stillness. SOUND RESET is an immersive sound experience created by Christina Michael, bringing together crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong and other resonant instruments to support deep rest and nervous system regulation. You’ll settle into your own comfortable space with a mat, bolster and blanket while layers of sound and vibration move through the room and body. There is nothing to perform, achieve or figure out. Simply arrive, get comfortable and allow yourself to receive. Each session is different and experienced differently. You may feel deeply relaxed, energized, quiet, emotional, spacious or simply enjoy an hour where nothing is required of you. I’m excited to be collaborating with B-Ninety Eight as a resident practice, where I’ll be hosting my own regular classes and experiences, including Yoga + Sound RESET — Hatha, Flow, Yin and Yoga Nidra — Sound RESET experiences, special events, workshops and private events. This feels like a beautiful return to a space where I’ve shared so much yoga and sound, while also creating something new. To everyone who has practised with me before, I can’t wait to see you again.
