Learn about Emily Carr’s love of trees and get inspired to create your own tree-themed artwork with a fun variety of art supplies! This is a 3-part workshop series taking place on Fridays, Oct 9, 16, 23 Sessions run weekly from 10 am - Noon Join therapudic arts practitioner Helga Strauss in creating tree-themed artwork with a fun variety of art supplies, including gifts from nature like Autumn leaves, twigs and more. Enjoy making a special book devoted to your favourite trees! This class is uniquely designed to appeal to people of all ages to bring together generations to connect through art-making. We encourage you to register with your child, a parent, a grandparent, a neighbour, or a friend! Or register individually to meet people in your community! In her personal art practice, she creates art every day, following her joy and curiosity. As a teacher for over 30 years, she encourages her students to do the same.
