Creative Careers: Creative Leadership Panel

A panel series exploring how creative leaders think, lead and shape the work. This event is in collaboration with DesCan Winnipeg. What does it take to lead creative work? And how do you go from being the person behind the ideas to the person guiding them? Creative leaders do more than shape the final product. They guide teams, solve problems, bring different perspectives together and make decisions that influence what a brand puts out into the world. It’s a role that calls for both creative thinking and the ability to see the bigger picture. But how do you get there? And what does creative leadership look like across different industries? The path isn’t always straightforward, and a title doesn’t necessarily tell the full story. For this Creative Careers panel, we’re bringing together four senior creative leaders from different industries to get into the realities of leading creative work. We’ll talk about how they got to where they are, what their roles actually look like, the skills that have helped them along the way, and what it takes to grow into a position where your ideas, decisions and opinions help shape the work.
