Art as Therapy: A 4-Part Journey into Creative Self-Discovery I am so happy and excited to share that I have started a collaboration with Initiative der heilenden Künste! 🎉 Starting this month, we are opening a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space in Berlin dedicated to Art as Therapy. This space is created for anyone who feels the call to integrate creativity back into their daily life, explore their emotions, and reconnect with their inner world. No prior experience is needed; the focus is entirely on the process, self-observation, and self-expression. We will meet bi-weekly to explore different archetypes and inner landscapes through various artistic materials (all provided!). Here is the journey we will take together before the winter break: 🗓️ The 4-Part Workshop Series (Oct – Dec) * 🚪 Oct 26 | Session 1: THE PORTAL (Thresholds & Transitions) As we approach Samhain, we explore the liminal space of transition. Using mixed media, natural autumn leaves, inks, and collage, we will visually construct our own personal portal: what are we leaving behind, and what stands on the other side? * 💧 Nov 9 | Session 2: ALCHEMY OF THE SELF (The Inner Waters) Moving from the threshold into deep flow. Using the wet-on-wet watercolor technique combined with salt, droppers, and fluid elements, we will explore patience, emotional balance, and how to blend past and present while staying in the here and now. * 🎭 Nov 23 | Session 3: UNMASKING (Shadows & Invisible Chains) An exploration of our inner attachments, invisible patterns, and the masks we wear. Through tactile materials like yarn, string, oil pastels, and collage to build or "free" the mask, we will look at our shadows with curiosity, lightness, and playfulness. * 🏗️ Tower Dec 7 | Session 4: BREAKTHROUGH (Construction & Deconstruction) What structures in our lives have we built that no longer serve us? In this session, we will build a vertical mini-installation using rigid cardboard, tape, wooden sticks, skewers, and string, representing old habits or rigid patterns—and then experience the liberating act of deconstructing and transforming them into something new. 📌 Practical Details for Session 1 * Date: Monday, October 26th * Time: 16:00 – 17:30 (90 minutes of guided creation & reflection) * Location: , Initiative der heilenden Künste, mariannenplatz, 2a Berlin * All materials included! 💶 Pricing & Solidarity Contribution Every session fee directly covers the venue space and the art materials.
