Calling all cake lovers, bakers, sweet-toothed socialites, and enthusiastic cake eaters! Autumn is here, which means it’s time to get cozy and embrace a little bit of spooky season. 🎃🍂 For this 10th edition, we’re adding a touch of Halloween to our cakes: think creepy, spooky, cute, autumnal, pumpkin-inspired, chocolatey… whatever your imagination comes up with! But the theme is absolutely optional. If Halloween isn’t your thing, just bring a cake. What matters is sharing, meeting people, and enjoying an afternoon together. 💛 Sunday, October 25th Join us for an indoor Cake & Picnic. The concept is simple: Bring one cakeMeet lovely people and enjoy an afternoon filled with cakeBring your own drinks, water and tea will be providedGet creative with the Halloween theme, if you feel like it! Whether you’re a seasoned baker, an enthusiastic eater, or somewhere in between, you’re very welcome. 🍰 Important: 1 ticket = 1 cake Each ticket corresponds to one person bringing one cake to share. So, for example: 1 ticket = 1 person + 1 cake 2 tickets = 2 people + 2 cakes The event is inspired by the original gatherings created by Elisa Sunga in San Francisco. 💛 About the ticket fee Cake & Picnic is a community event that I organise in my personal time, and the ticket fee helps cover the practical costs of making it happen. This includes things like: Renting the tables and event space Takeaway boxes for leftover cake Cutlery and other supplies Decorations and table setup General event organisation and logistics The fee allows me to keep providing all of these things while continuing to organise Cake & Picnic regularly. It’s not a profit-making event, I simply try to cover the costs of putting it together. Bringing a +1? As this is an indoor event with limited space, please ask me if you are thinking of bringing a +1. I need to keep track of the number of people attending so I can manage the space properly and make sure the event remains comfortable and enjoyable for everyone, including children. Please don’t assume that an additional person can join without checking with me first. Thank you for understanding! 💛 🐶 No dogs, unfortunately As we’re indoors and will already have quite a few people sharing a limited space, please leave your dogs at home for this edition. I’m sorry! There are 42 spots available, so please only book if you’re planning to attend. If your plans change, let me know as soon as possible so someone else can take your place. ⚠️ Allergies & disclaimer This is a community event where everyone brings homemade or store-bought cakes to share. Please keep in mind: Cakes are homemade, and ingredients and preparation methods cannot be verified. Please eat at your own discretion. Cakes are shared in the same space, so cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed against. We regularly have cakes containing nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, etc. Special dietary cakes are very welcome, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and more, but please always check the ingredients before tasting. Oktober Kommt zu einem Indoor Cake & Picnic, bei dem wir unsere Kuchen zusammenbringen, andere Kuchenliebhaber kennenlernen und einen gemütlichen Herbstnachmittag mit einem Tisch voller selbstgemachter Kreationen verbringen. Das Konzept ist ganz einfach: Einen Kuchen mitbringen Nette Menschen kennenlernen und einen Nachmittag voller Kuchen genießen Eigene Getränke mitbringen – Wasser und Tee werden bereitgestellt Mit dem Halloween-Thema kreativ werden, wenn ihr Lust darauf habt! Egal, ob ihr passionierte Bäcker, begeisterte Kuchenesser oder irgendwo dazwischen seid – ihr seid herzlich willkommen. 🍰 Wichtig: 1 Ticket = 1 Kuchen Jedes Ticket entspricht einer Person, die einen Kuchen zum Teilen mitbringt. Cake & Picnic ist ein Community-Event, das ich in meiner Freizeit organisiere. Die Teilnahmegebühr hilft dabei, die praktischen Kosten zu decken, die für die Organisation entstehen. Dazu gehören unter anderem: Miete der Tische und des Veranstaltungsraums Boxen für übrig gebliebenen Kuchen Besteck und andere Materialien Dekoration und Tischgestaltung Allgemeine Organisation und Logistik So kann ich diese Dinge weiterhin bereitstellen und Cake & Picnic regelmäßig organisieren. Es handelt sich nicht um eine gewinnorientierte Veranstaltung – ich versuche lediglich, die Kosten für die Organisation zu decken. Eine Begleitperson mitbringen Da es sich um eine Indoor-Veranstaltung mit begrenztem Platz handelt, fragt mich bitte vorher, wenn ihr eine Begleitperson mitbringen möchtet. Ich muss den Überblick über die Anzahl der Teilnehmer behalten, damit ich den Platz gut organisieren und sicherstellen kann, dass die Veranstaltung für alle angenehm bleibt – auch für die Kinder.
