On the occasion of the Design Days Berlin foldt exclusively partners with premium appliance brand SKS. The showcase will for the first time introduce one of the most intriguing products in the SKS lineup to the German market. For a limited time, the foldt showroom will shift into an ephemeral bar setting, envisioned in close collaboration with Berlins renown Forma gallery. As the centerpiece to the installation foldt has developed a bespoke iteration of its ff1 stainless steel kitchen. A pair of modules serving as a deconstructed bar counter house a set of SKS’s unique under-counter refrigerators. Taking cues from Shiro Kuramata’s iconic Sushi Bar interior, the installation tenderly approaches the familiar codes of bar and hospitality interiors through the gaze of Vanessa Heepen from Forma Gallery. Please join us for a drink, enjoy the tunes selected by the wonderful Nalan and Amelie Kahl, and experience the product first hand.
