Octopus's Garden - Surreal English Stand-up Comedy

Think Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks as punchlines. Welcome to Octopus’s Garden, the only surrealist stand-up comedy show in Berlin, or possibly the whole world. This is a show where the comedy as hilarious as it is mind-bending and dream-like. Think Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks as punchlines. Kafka’s big bug as premises. Think Ren and Stimpy’s nerve endings as that which gets tickled. This is a professional show with Berlin’s most outside the box and brilliant comics. Only the best, only the most deranged, and only the most illogical conclusions will find a home on this stage. It is not “alt comedy” but classical stand-up comedy taken to the most bizarre and delightful places. There will be no German and Berlin stereotype jokes, no dating jokes unless they are truly psychedelic and no topics you have ever contemplated before. Or your money back. *What is surrealism:Wikipedia says “Surrealism is an art and cultural movement that developed in Europe in the aftermath of World War I in which artists aimed to allow the unconscious mind to express itself, often resulting in the depiction of illogical or dreamlike scenes and ideas.[1] Its intention was, according to leader André Breton, to "resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality into an absolute reality, a super-reality", or surreality.[2][3][4] It produced works of painting, writing, photography, theatre, filmmaking, music, comedy and other media as well.” _____________________________________________________ Tickets: Early Bird Tickets: 7 EUR Regular Online Tickets: 10 EUR Door: 12 EUR _____________________________________________________ Details: Date: November 27th Doors: 20:00 Showtime: 20:30 - 22:30 Venue: Werkhain (Frankfurter Allee 108a/Fabrikgebäude 2. Simpson!” She is also the whistleblower for her former Buddhist Cult. Her message is: "don't mess with the funniest person in your cult, ya dumb Buddhists". She has been featured on the BBC, British Comedy Guide, Chortle, The Jewish News, The Guardian, A Little Bit Culty, Guru Mag, Cults to Consciousness, and Taz magazine.
