The official pre-conference evening of the 4th BVES Investor Summit Europe 2026. PT1, BVES, LCP Delta and SET Ventures are bringing together leading players from across the energy storage ecosystem for an intimate roundtable and reception on the eve of the BVES Investor Summit Europe. The BVES Investor Summit itself takes place on 14–15 October in Berlin and brings together the European energy storage investment ecosystem. As Germany’s and Europe’s battery storage pipeline scales, offtake structuring is becoming one of the key determinants of bankability. Negative-price hours are increasing, balancing-market revenues are compressing, and financing is shifting from predominantly merchant equity toward structured debt backed by offtake and tolling arrangements. At the same time, a new generation of structures is emerging — from fixed-floor tolling and price swaps to collars, hybrid PPAs and revenue-share models — each reshaping how risk and returns are allocated between developers, lenders, optimizers and traders. The implications differ significantly across business cases: from German Grünstromspeicher benefiting from EEG-privileged co-location, to tri-location projects combining PV, wind and BESS behind a single grid connection, and co-location models more broadly.
