Under the title "Acting Ahead: Building a Sovereign Ecosystem", the TUM Speakers Series is excited to welcome Susanne Marell and Roland Hehn to talk about moving before you have to, why sovereignty is the idea that connects it all, how to lead and communicate through change, and what AI and the future of work mean for the next generation of talent. About the Speakers: Susanne Marell is Executive Vice President Schwarz Corporate Affairs at Schwarz Group. Trained as an economist, she has spent more than three decades in communications, in both corporate and agency roles. She was Vice President Business Germany at Edelman and, from 2020 to 2022, CEO of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Germany. Since early 2023, she has led Corporate Affairs for Schwarz Group, responsible for its strategic direction in transformation and ecological responsibility. In 2025, the PR Report Awards named her "Communicator of the Year" for giving a stronger public voice to a previously reserved retail giant. Roland Hehn is CHRO of Schwarz Corporate Solutions. After positions at Commerzbank, Nestlé and Otto Bock Healthcare, he spent more than eight years as CHRO and member of the Group Management Board at the technology group Heraeus. In August 2022, he joined Schwarz Group as HR Board Member, where he drives a joint people strategy across Lidl, Kaufland, PreZero, Schwarz Produktion and Schwarz Digits, for everyone from store staff to highly specialized tech experts.
