USAGSO STEMinist: In-Person Energy Adventures

In this 3-hour in-person STEMinist event, Girl Scouts will discover how energy powers our everyday lives—from campfires that roast our s’mores to the phones we charge and the lights that brighten the night. Through interactive activities and creative challenges, participants will explore different forms of energy and the science behind them. Girl Scouts will rotate through exciting stations where they will: ⚡ Create a wearable circuit ☀️ Build and paint a take-home solar-powered car 💨 Experiment with sounds you can see 🏃‍♀️ Test the use of energy with an Energy Obstacle Course 🎵 Recharge with a bite-sized power snack and dance station Each Girl Scout will receive: • A wooden solar-powered car to take home • A wearable circuit to take home • The STEMinist fun patch and energy rocker • A snack during the event • And an energetic afternoon of discovery—all for just $35 Join us as we explore the power of energy and discover how STEM helps build a brighter, more sustainable future! Location Stuttgart High School Multi-Purpose Room 71032 Böblingen, Germany Program Details • Because this program is taking place on a US military installation, all attendees must have an ID card that grants them access to USAG-Stuttgart. If you do not have an ID card, please reach out to us at [email protected] to discuss access options before registering. • Check-in will open at 12:45pm. The event will start promptly at 1:00pm. Please be on time! The event ends at 4:00pm. • The $35 registration fee for this program covers all supplies, two STEMinist fun patches, a take-home car, and a snack. • Girls must be a registered Girl Scout to attend. If you are not already a registered Girl Scout, you can register at checkout -- just select the Girl Scout Membership add-on in addition to your General Admission ticket. • This is a drop off event. We are unable to accommodate parents and tag-a-longs. However, we do need adult volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering for the event, please be sure to add a Volunteer ticket to your order. If you don't see don't see any Volunteer tickets availiable, all roles are filled. • This event is open to Girl Scout Daisies through Cadettes. Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors are invited to sign-up as a volunteer. • A confirmation email with event details will be sent 1-week prior to the program to the email address provided during registration.
