Boris Cherny, creator of Claude Code, recently called Functional Programming in Scala “the one technical book I would recommend to everyone that has had the greatest impact on me as an engineer.” This book is deeply connected to the Typelevel ecosystem, and this event is a special opportunity to learn the concepts it teaches directly from the Typelevel team. Program During this meetup you can expect: presentations on functional programming and Typelevel a workshop on using Typelevel libraries an "unconference" for office hours and hacking lunch Speakers Arman BilgeOpen source maintainer of Cats EffectExecutive Director of the Typelevel Foundation Daniel HinojosaJava ChampionTypelevel Technical Steering Committee Member Thanh LeOpen source maintainer of LichessTypelevel Technical Steering Committee Member
