Dawn Chorus - Sunrise Walk to Seefin

A dawn chorus walk to the highest point of the Ballyhoura as the rising sun illuminates the valleys and hills of the entire region. Start your Saturday at the 30th Ballyhoura Walking Festival with an early morning hike to Seefin, the highest point of the Ballyhoura Mountains. Led by the Ballyhoura Bears Walking Club, the walk sets out before sunrise, climbing towards Seefin as the morning light begins to illuminate the surrounding hills and valleys. A special opportunity to experience the Ballyhouras at one of the most peaceful times of the day and, weather permitting, watch the landscape come to life with the rising sun.
