LANGUAGE English and Spanish *ABOUT SWAMI YATIDHARMANANDA Swami Yatidharmananda is an Indian monk, meditation teacher, and founder of the Swami Chidananda Sevashram, a socio-spiritual organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the teachings of Gurudev Swami Chidanandaji. His spiritual path began at a young age, driven by deep questions about culture, religion, and the nature of spiritual life. At the age of 24, he became the personal assistant of Swami Chidanandaji, a direct disciple of Swami Sivananda, whom he accompanied and served for many years. In the year 2000, he received Sannyasa Diksha from Swami Chidanandaji, marking his formal initiation into monastic life. Since then, Swami Yati has shared his teachings internationally through practices designed to understand, quiet, and transform the mind, including meditation, Yoga Nidra, kirtan, Vedanta, and others. He has participated in several editions of the Parliament of the World’s Religions and, in 2023, was invited to speak as a Luminary Speaker during one of its main plenary sessions in Chicago. His way of teaching brings together the depth of the yogic tradition with an approach that is practical, warm, accessible, and filled with humor, allowing ancient teachings to become living tools for navigating the challenges of everyday life. Swami Yati will be visiting Mexico from September 30 to October 11. This will be a special opportunity to meet him, spend time in his presence, and learn directly from his teachings, while creating space for some of the deeper questions we often ask of life itself: questions about purpose, the mind, relationships, suffering, spiritual practice, or simply how to live with greater clarity. Perhaps, through his experience, practice, and path, Swami Yati may help us contemplate these questions from a different perspective.
