Start the weekend with yummy, nutritious activities. The kind of fun, meaningful, and healthy things you've been wanting to do more of: play, reading, journaling, getting community support, plus a little good deed to feel proud of 😇 (that's a surprise). In our rushed, busy, slightly disconnected lives, it's not easy to find the time (or people!) for gathering the ingredients that make life rich and meaningful: connection and companionship, movement, nature, opportunities for reflection and contemplation, adventure, play, learning, and, importantly, doing something to leave the the world better than we found it. In Vitameets, we compensate for that by packing all the vitamins that we can access in the context of a lovely coffee shop, over two and a half hours 💊🤩 and thus move us all closer to the fulfilled and meaningful life we yearn for. The structure: get together with lovely people and enjoy a morning of coffee and predefined blocks of vitamin activities of anything between 15 and 90 minutes, all facilitated by Tiffany and Lito from 101s.community. The vitamins for the day: social: arrival, getting drinks, icebreakers: 30 min. accomplishment: "eat the frog" = make progress on your least favorite task, the one you have been postponing. 30 min. play: today it's The Mind! 20 min. learning + growth + social: gratuitous advice session: 20 min. learning + growth: 2 truly life-changing tools (that is, if they are actually used!): the HEAL method for integrating the good that comes our way, and the food metaphor for receiving feedback. 20 min. play + adventure + contribution: StreetComplete and goodbyes. 30 min. For extroverts: you'll meet interesting new people and have a mini adventure. For introverts: many of the vitamins are done in silence (eat the frog, and learning about the HEAL method), and when we share and discuss, it's structured and moderated. For neurospicy minds: you've already seen how much structure there is 😆 Plus: we're making meeting strangers less awkward; there's a definite cut-off time, so you don't have to feel pressured to linger; the gratuitous advice part allows you to info-pebble, should you so choose.
