I welcome all of you, whether you are from the city or elsewhere, to join us on this excursion of the historic and beautiful Barcelona ! Hi! I’m Taseen, an architecture student in Barcelona and local resident, originally from Canada. After studying and working in architecture in Canada, I moved to Barcelona and fell in love with the city’s extraordinary architectural diversity, historic neighborhoods, and unique urban character. During this two-hour walking tour, we’ll explore Barcelona through the lens of architecture and urban design. We’ll discover how the city has evolved over time, from its historic streets and iconic landmarks to the innovative buildings and public spaces that define modern Barcelona. Along the way, we’ll look at the work of renowned architects and explore the ideas, history, and design principles behind some of the city’s most fascinating buildings. NOTE: Unfortunately, because of time constrain this tour includes Gaudi's buildings but not Sagrada Familia My goal is not only to show you beautiful buildings, but to help you understand why Barcelona looks the way it does and how it compares with architecture styles and trends around he world — how architecture, urban planning, culture, and history have come together to shape the city we see today. Whether you’re an architecture enthusiast, a student, a visitor curious about Barcelona, or simply someone who enjoys discovering a city from a different perspective, I’d love to share my knowledge and passion for architecture with you. Tours are approximately two hours long and run on weekends and holidays. (It is also possible to host the tour on a Customised tour.)
