Climate Accountability Network

BCN Climate Week: Workshops, a conference, and DJs. If you want to join a movement working on solutions, join us. (Español más abajo) Most human-made emissions, deforestation, and pollution come from companies. If we can't hold them accountable, we will lose the battle against environmental destruction. This event marks the beginning of a movement that will investigate and disclose the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact of corporations on a global scale. Come if you want to connect with like-minded people who want to solve the problem at its root. Activities Presentation Area Interactive conference and masterclass (In Spanish) Title: “Nuevas narrativas e imaginarios colectivos: una palanca para la transición” Speaker: Thomas Pentecouteau Time: 6:30–7:30 PM Interactive workshop and guessing game Title: “How to Detect Corporate Greenwashing” Time: 7:30–8:30 PM Networking Area • DJ Nadzz (Palestine + U.S.) • DJ Rhythm in Deep (Barcelona + Dominican Republic) Notes • Important information about the “How to Detect Corporate Greenwashing” workshop will be sent to your email before the event. • The restaurant and bar menu will also be sent to your email. The organization: Climate Accountability API is a nonprofit and one of the largest providers of open APIs for planetary climate indicators, powering thousands of applications globally. We're now building something more challenging: a transparent, open ESG information system that consolidates what companies disclose, what they omit, and what independent regulators say instead. We will bring our findings to the public, giving them the power to take action. If we get it right, it will encourage companies to adopt more sustainable practices, accelerating the green transition. The prototype works. We launch in early 2027. We need journalists, sustainability researchers, software and data professionals, designers, fundraisers, and people from fields we haven't thought of yet. Come find out what we're building and how you could be part of it. "By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organisers of BCN Climate Week."
