Madrid´s smallest writing workshop

Write a sentence or two, leave your words anonymously, discover art, meet interesting people and enjoy a glass of tinto. A writing event for people who believe a few words can be enough. The idea is simple: come by the art studio, have a glass of tinto, hang out, check out some art, meet interesting people, and leave behind a sentence or two. No workshops, no long readings, no pressure to be a “writer.” Just small pieces of writing, thoughts, observations, confessions, strange ideas, or words you feel like putting into the world. At every gathering, there will be a board where you can anonymously (or signed with your insta handles) leave an original quote or sentence. And you are always free to take one of the writings from someone else home. Each gathering is done jointly with a pop-up event launched at Acromyx Studios. So expect also street art, fashion, music, discounts on clothes, and more. The contributions will become part of an ongoing collection, with selected pieces eventually included in the second edition of Last Words for the Road, a book project built around collecting words from strangers. Come to write. Come to read what others have left. Come to have a drink and spend some time in an art studio. One or two sentences. That's enough. No pressure to perform. Un grupo de escritura para quienes creen que unas pocas palabras pueden ser suficientes. La idea es sencilla: pásate por el estudio de arte, tómate un tinto, conoce gente interesante, descubre un poco de arte y deja una frase o dos. Sin talleres, sin lecturas interminables, sin presión por ser “escritor”. Solo pequeños textos, pensamientos, observaciones, confesiones, ideas extrañas o palabras que simplemente te apetezca dejar en el mundo. En cada encuentro habrá un mural donde podrás dejar de forma anónima, o firmado con tu Instagram, una frase o cita original. Y siempre puedes llevarte a casa alguno de los textos que haya dejado otra persona. Cada encuentro se organiza junto con un evento pop-up en Acromyx Studios, así que también encontrarás arte urbano, moda, música, descuentos en ropa y mucho más. Las aportaciones pasarán a formar parte de una colección en constante crecimiento, y algunas de ellas podrán ser seleccionadas para aparecer en la segunda edición de Last Words for the Road, un proyecto editorial creado a partir de palabras recopiladas de personas desconocidas. Ven a escribir. Ven a leer lo que otros han dejado. Ven a tomarte algo y pasar un rato en un estudio de arte. Una frase o dos. Es suficiente. Sin presión por demostrar nada.
