KLUUVI 🕒 15:00–18:00 📍 Aleksanterinkatu 9, ground floor Program • Inauguration of the Day of the Dead Altar • Mexican music • Traditional Mexican folk dance performed by Colectivo Máxico • Pan de muerto (traditional Day of the Dead bread) for sale by Mexican entrepreneur Gilda Vargas (Cakes by Gigi) • Catrinas and Catrines parade 🌼 The altar will remain on display until November 8. The Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) is a deeply rooted Mexican tradition declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO (2008) and included in Finland’s National Register of Living Heritage (2023).
