Re-membering tradition: How our past can support our future

However, those supports are not lost. They live in us and we can reconnect with what has been fragmented or separated. If only we pay enough attention and listen, we might find that their essence fits in the modern world too. That is what we are intentionally taking time for together: An evening to rediscover and reconnect with the wisdom of the diverse traditions and lineages that have shaped us and brought us here. What can past practices still tell us about ourselves? What parts fit the modern world and what parts can be composted to become new tradition? What beautiful practices can we create together when mixing the wisdom of our diverse backgrounds? Together we will: Explore issues that are weighing on us and we feel we have lost our ways with Share our lived experience with tradition and uncover the wisdom behind it Work together with others bringing their own traditions – To craft new mindful, kind and resilient practices that fit in our current world and support us This gathering is for folks that: Believe that there is wisdom we are losing our touch with and could support us with the weight of modernity Wish to reconnect with the tradition of their own ancestry and discover how it could fit in their modern life in practical ways Want to celebrate and be inspired by the traditions of others Hosted by Athanasios Christopoulos - a biologist and facilitator whose work deals with regeneration, resilience and our mental models to heal collective wounds; this workshop is a hands-on session where your voice matters the most and co-creation is the main attraction.
