Rather than treating the gallery simply as a space for displaying paintings, Boafo transforms it into an environment that invites us to think about what it means to inhabit, share and belong to a space. His paintings become part of this larger experience, moving between exhibition-making and lived experience. Through the relationship between figures, interiors and atmosphere, the exhibition reflects on how the spaces around us can shape our sense of identity and belonging. Home, Belonging and Identity ✨ What makes this exhibition particularly interesting is the way Boafo moves beyond the idea of home as simply a physical place. Home can be a feeling, a memory, a relationship or a space we create for ourselves.
