Freewriting For Reflection

Rather than teaching writing techniques, this workshop offers a calm and supportive space to explore your thoughts without pressure, judgment, or the need to be “good at writing.” What to Expect • A small-group, guided freewriting workshop • Three writing sessions with carefully designed prompts • Gentle moments of reflection between writing sessions • Optional sharing in a respectful and non-judgmental space • No previous writing experience required • No critique or evaluation of your writing A Few Gentle Principles • Writing is for everyone. • There is no right or wrong way to write. • Freewriting is about attention, not perfection. • Sharing is always optional. • You don't need to produce “good” writing - just keep writing. Language The workshop will be facilitated in English. You do not need to be a native English speaker to participate - in fact, participants who write or think in more than one language are especially welcome. Important Information There is no workshop fee. However, as this session is kindly hosted by XAÏA Café, each participant is asked to purchase one coffee and one cake from the café during the workshop. Please note that the purchase is required to attend the session. Bring a notebook and pen, or simply use your laptop - whatever feels most comfortable for you. (Though past participants highly recommend using the 'old' ways because it's less tiring)
