A year in Nature Through Art Therapy (November)

A monthly outdoor art therapy group following the turning of the year. A monthly outdoor art therapy group following the turning of the year. We begin in November. Each month we will spend time together, exploring metaphors and themes through nature, creative practice, reflection and time outdoors. We’ll stay within Paris, exploring a different park or green space each month. Each place offers its own ecosystem, stories and seasonal character, becoming part of our creative journey. The group is inspired by the Circle of Trees approach as well as the Celtic Wheel of the Year, following the seasons through trees, natural processes, symbolism, myth, ritual and art. Each month (the first Saturday of every month) we'll meet with a different tree, season and theme, moving through the year together. November: new beginnings December: darkness and light January: the bridge February: the waters March: emerging and release April: dreaming May: strength and connection June : fullness and vitality July: creativity and possibility August: harvest and abundance September: completion and transition October: direction You’re welcome to join for a single session, but the real invitation is to follow the whole yea. So you return to the same practice, the changing landscape and the seasonal themes as they arrive throughout the year. There’s something special about noticing what shifts in nature, and in ourselves, when we return month after month. No art experience is needed. Just come as you are, dressed for being outside. We’ll meet in all weather, unless there is a red weather alert and it’s genuinely unsafe to be outdoors.
