Winter Solstice Gathering

A nourishing evening of Qi Gong, Light Activation & Intention Setting, culminating in a restorative Gong Bath, for the Winter Solstice. Join us at Marlow Bottom Village Hall on Sunday 20th December for a gentle, nourishing evening to celebrate the Winter Solstice, reflect on the year that has passed and set intentions for the year ahead. As we reach the longest night of the year, we’ll come together to honour the stillness of winter, reconnect with ourselves and welcome the gradual return of the light. Through gentle movement, journalling and the soothing sounds of a gong bath, this is an opportunity to pause, reflect and create space for what you wish to invite into your life in the coming year. ✨ Our Evening Together 7.00–7.40pm | Welcome, Qi Gong & Light Activation We’ll begin by arriving, grounding and connecting with ourselves through a gentle Qi Gong practice and Light activation. Together, we’ll honour the turning of the Wheel and the changing season with Teresa from Frequency Shift. 7.40–8.20pm | 13 Wishes & Poetry A beautiful Winter Solstice ritual of reflection and intention setting. Through journalling and poetry, Claire from Creatix Journey will guide us in exploring our 13 wishes for the year ahead, making space for our hopes, dreams and possibilities. 8.20–9.00pm | Gong Bath Allow yourself to rest, receive and simply be. Phoebe from Phoebe Winter Sound will guide us into deep relaxation through the resonant sounds of a gong bath, offering time to integrate the evening and settle into the stillness of the Solstice. 9.00–9.30pm | Tea, Seasonal Snacks & Connection We’ll gently return, share warming tea and seasonal snacks, and enjoy time together in a relaxed and welcoming space. 🌿 Bring a Little Greenery for Our Altar We invite you to bring a small piece of greenery from your home or garden to contribute to our shared Winter Solstice altar. This might be evergreen foliage, ivy, holly, rosemary or any natural element that feels meaningful to you. Each offering will become part of a collective celebration of nature, renewal and the turning of the seasons. ✨ Come As You Are This evening is an invitation to slow down, honour the darkness, reconnect with yourself and welcome the returning light. A space to release what no longer serves you, nurture your hopes for the future and plant the seeds of your intentions for the year ahead. Come and share this special seasonal gathering with us. With over 20 years of experience in radio and podcasting as both a presenter and producer, she brings a deep understanding of how sound can connect and transform us.
