Winter Solstice Retreat Day at Soul Barns With Rachel Broady- Somatic Facilitator, Breathwork, Sound & Reiki & Annie Sealy- Movement & Mindfulness Teacher & Sound Healer Before the festive season gets busy, we invite you to book in some precious time for you. Event details 🗓️ Sunday 20th December, 2–7pm 📍 Soul Barns, Mortimer, RG7 3PS During this five-hour event, you will experience: ✨ Yoga ✨ Somatic Breathwork ✨ Reiki-infused Sound Bath ✨ Nourishment ✨ Connection and a light vegan dinner The afternoon has been carefully put together to offer you the space to slow down, reconnect and give yourself the gift of time, when the world around us in December is so busy. What to bring • A mat • One or more blankets • A pillow • An eye mask • Layered clothing, as body temperature can drop at times during these sessions • Water • A journal and pen Following our Summer Solstice Event “Rachel and Annie create such a beautiful day. Contraindications and adaptations Conscious Connected Breathing may not be suitable for everyone; however, adaptations can often be made. The following contraindications apply: • Cardiovascular problems or high or abnormal blood pressure • A history of aneurysms, epilepsy or seizures • Severe psychiatric symptoms, such as psychosis, paranoia or bipolar disorder • Osteoporosis or recent surgery • Glaucoma or diabetes • Extreme asthma or other respiratory conditions • Pregnancy Sound Healing may not be suitable for those who have: • Epilepsy • Metal implants • Severe mental health conditions • A first-trimester pregnancy If any of the above conditions apply to you, or if you are currently in a vulnerable place or working through significant trauma, we are here to support you.
