Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness for this important subject. The purpose of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to raise awareness about breast cancer. Let's get together and continue to make a difference throughout the year, not just in October. We understand how vital it was for you to get out, stay active, and stay connected during the pandemic. We want to encourage people who are new to fitness to get started, as well as those who are looking for a physical challenge to stay active. Please remember that the 5K Pink Walk uses shared paths. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users. We do multiple laps of park on firm tarmac paths. When: Sunday 25 October - 11.00 AM Meeting Point: Russell Rd, Moseley, Birmingham B13 8RD Fundraising How much do I need to raise: There is a £50 minimum fundraising target for each trek. The cost of signing up for 5K Pink Walk is £10. This will cover event management expenses such as the fees of trek guides, light refreshments for the trek, and first aid. The amount that you raise will go directly to IKCA which will help provide cancer treatment for cancer patients at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) in Lahore and Peshawar. To make fundraising easier, we recommend setting up a JustGiving page https://www.justgiving.com/Shaukat . It’s quick and easy and saves you from having to collect wads of cash. Once you’ve got one, all you’ll need to do is forward your JustGiving page link to friends and contacts, and they can donate online, directly to IKCA.
