This free afternoon brings together professionals from across Furness who meet death and bereavement in their work. This forum brings together professionals across Furness who support people reaching the end of life, and the families they leave behind. It’s a chance to share knowledge, understand how our roles connect, and find better ways to support our community together. The programme includes: • What happens after a death: the roles and responsibilities of the organisations involved, from care and statutory processes to support for bereaved families • Talks from a Co-op funeral director, funeral planner and celebrant • Wills, probate and lasting power of attorney, with Co-op Legal Services • An interactive workshop and Q&A panel Free to attend, with tea, coffee and snacks.
