Whilst we are in our temporary home of The Semaphore Arms where things are a bit limited, we hope to be moving back to our Youth Centre, Jubilee Hall in the near future, where there will be even better facilities to make use of. Our vision if for Inters youth club to be thought of, planned, developed and ran by young people with the support of Army Welfare Service staff and volunteers and become a great space to have your say and make a difference for young people in the garrison both now and in the future, whilst having a lot of fun and some great experiences along the way. With amazing residential and offsite opportunities on offer throughout the year to our membership, AWS Community Support youth clubs are well established across the South West and we hope to establish Blandford Youth Club as another great edition to our sister clubs in Bovington, Larkhill, Tidworth, Lyneham, Colerne and South Cerney. We're a really friendly bunch and we value respect, inclusivity and fairness. If you're not sure and want to visit before registering, that's fine, your first night is free so you can come and give it a try. (If parent's wanted to come along for the session to get a feel for it and see what we get up to - or just to accompany your child, you are also very welcome) So why not come and try Blandford Inters Youth Club. Invite your mates and come and enjoy yourself. We'll see you there! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Parents Info Booking is not necessary at this point due to attendance being low and staff ratios relating to safeguarding children and young people being healthy. This may change in the future. Blandford Inters Youth Club is a service strictly for young people in school years 4 &5 and is a quality youth service overseen by JNC qualified youth work practitioners. Sessions incorporate elements of the national youth work curriculum as set out by the National Youth Agency and can focus on issues such as health and wellbeing, citizenship, safe relationships, economic wellbeing and creativity and fun.
