Join the Ranger at Fort Victoria to explore the site and learn all about it's history. Fort Victoria History Walk Join Fort Victoria Country Park's Ranger to explore the history of this once impressive Victorian fortification. Enjoy a gentle stroll around the buildings and country park and find out about some of the more hidden relics left here. Length of walk: 1 mile Walk Leader: Anita Matheson Walk Cost: Payment required: £3 each or £5 for two. Cash on the day please. Type of Walk: Circular Start / Finish location: Meet outside the Rangers' Office at Fort Victoria (next to the toilets), Fort Victoria, Westhill Lane, PO41 0RR, grid reference - 4339 0898. Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace. Walk grade: Easy - Mainly flat walking, on paths with good surfaces. No stiles, none or few steps. Mobility level: Suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance.
