Learn the Silver Clay Process Silver clay is a fascinating material made from recycled silver particles, water and an organic binder. While it’s in its clay form, you can roll, shape, stamp and texture it. During firing, the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together, leaving solid fine silver. Every stage will be demonstrated clearly, with individual help available whenever you need it. Silver Clay & Additional Materials Your ticket includes 7g of silver clay, which is usually enough to create a pendant or a pair of earrings, depending on your chosen size and design. If you decide you’d like to make a larger piece or create more than one design, extra silver clay and additional findings will be available to purchase during the workshop. A Relaxed Creative Day in Bournemouth The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and for children aged 10 and over when accompanied and supervised by an adult.
