We’re delighted to welcome Jenny Cooper from Leeds Care Association, who has kindly rescheduled her presentation from October, when she was required to attend a conference in London. Jenny will be discussing the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) and cyber security, including: • What the DSPT means for care providers and the requirements that apply. • Why cyber security matters in health and social care. • Protecting sensitive client, staff and business information. • Practical steps to improve data security and maintain good practice. • Keeping up to date with expectations and available support. Also hoping to join us Helen Cook from Personal Care Specialists, who was unfortunately unable to attend October’s meeting due to a family emergency, hopes to join us to discuss the Leeds Providers Forum and the benefits of collaboration between independent care providers. Helen’s attendance is subject to confirmation. 💙 Stronger Together™ is about relationships, not just introductions Our meetings bring people from health, social care and community support together face to face to share knowledge, discuss challenges and develop genuine, lasting working relationships. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, but we follow a structured agenda to make the most of our two hours. We encourage everyone to attend for the full meeting and join us regularly wherever possible. Trust and meaningful partnerships develop over time. Did you know? CQC’s assessment framework recognises the importance of partnership working, including how providers collaborate with other organisations to deliver joined up care. Regular participation in Stronger Together™ can help providers develop these relationships and demonstrate their commitment to collaboration, shared learning and continuous improvement.
