Cooking for Carers - Christmas Baking - Uckfield

Join us for a festive Christmas workshop especially for unpaid carers. This 3-hour hands-on Christmas baking workshop offers unpaid adult carers the opportunity to take time for themselves, enjoy a creative activity, and learn festive baking skills. What the session includes: • Festive Treats: Such as Stollen bites with festive fruit and nuts, and mince pies. • Practical Skills: Simple baking techniques, time-saving tips, and confidence-building support to help participants recreate the recipes at home. • Relaxation & Connection: A warm and welcoming space to meet other carers, share experiences, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of baking together. • Take-Home Goodies: Participants will leave with their freshly baked creations, festive recipe cards, and the know-how to bake them again with ease. The workshop is designed to be light hearted, good fun, and social. Please note that this workshop is for registered unpaid adult carers living in East Sussex. However, we have a small number of discretionary places for parent carers on application.
