Bristol BID Gardening Club - Quaker Burial Ground

Join our Gardening Club for our monthly volunteer session to enhance the Quaker Burial Ground, a small but historic piece of green space within our city centre. Participants will help tidy and rejuvenate the garden, developing a biodiversity-rich space that is enjoyable to spend time in. Each month, the session will involve a range of tasks including weeding, planting bulbs and new plants and litter picking to support the long term health of the garden. All tools and materials are provided, simply come prepared for the weather. A waterproof coat and a drink are recommended. Please read the Bristol City Council Volunteering Agreement: here Gardening Club is part of a community project to make improvements to Quaker Burial Ground to develop it as a Sanctuary Garden for anyone seeking a safe and calm space within the city centre. This project is delivered in partnership with City of Sanctuary, Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, Bristol Society of Friends, Bristol City Council and UWE.
