During the course, you will explore the Excel environment, manage workbooks and worksheets, and learn how to create, edit and format spreadsheets. You will also develop essential skills in using formulae and functions, working with data, applying number formats and creating charts to present information clearly. What You’ll Learn By the end of the course, you will have an introduction to how to: • Navigate Excel confidently and customise your working environment. • Manage workbooks and worksheets, including working with multiple files, organising sheets and using features such as Freeze Panes. • Create and edit spreadsheets by entering, copying, moving and organising data. • Use AutoFill to generate series of text and numbers. • Work with formulae and functions, including SUM, COUNT, COUNTA and AVERAGE. • Understand absolute cell references and how to use them in formulae. • Format worksheets professionally using fonts, borders, shading, alignment, styles and themes. • Apply number and date formats to present information appropriately. • Prepare spreadsheets for printing, including page layout, margins, page breaks, headers and footers. • Create charts to help display information visually.
