Lantern Making Workshop 2

Make a lantern dedicated to an ocean creature to bring on the Lantern Parade for Antarctic Rights in Cambridge on 28 November This is a free event but we would be grateful for donations to cover the cost of the venue. During the workshop, you will be guided through the steps to make a simple tear-drop shaped lantern from willow and tissue paper. Please try to watch the video below before you come so you know what to expect. You may not have time to decorate your lantern during the workshop but if you have finished the stage using wet-strength tissue, you will be able to complete your lantern at home. Anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or carer. This event is organised by an alliance of the Cambridge Antarctic Rights Network, Extinction Rebellion East of England and Little Blue Dot. It is also supported by Cambridge Stop the War Coalition and Cambridge Greenpeace.
