Great Coastal Birdwatch Wildlife Walk - Burnham-on-Crouch

Join us for a quick stroll around Burnham-on-Crouch for the Great Coastal Birdwatch Event details Date: 31 October 2026 Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm - Wildlife Walk Begins at 11:00am Please note - We will be on site from 10am - 2pm, but the wildlife walk runs from 11am - 12pm. Location: Riverside Park, Burnham-on-Crouch CM0 8AS Pop Up Information: The Bird Aware Team will be setting up at Burnham-on-Crouch to welcome in the Great Coastal Birdwatch! The ranger team will be there with activities and games and tips on how you can do your own Great Coastal Birdwatch. You can come down and meet us between 10am – 2pm. Wildlife Walk Information: Join us for a short light stroll, following the Saltmarsh Coast Trail west along the Yacht Harbour and back to celebrate local wildlife. The walk will take approximately 1 hour, and we will walk over a flat surface with frequent stops for birdwatching, using spotting scope. Please bring suitable footwear, as the paths can get muddy and slippery after wet weather. It is a windy site too, so dress warmly. There are public toilets opposite the Crouch Harbour Office. Dogs are welcome to join in but MUST be kept on leads for the entire duration of the walk.
